A flagship summer outreach providing hydration, cooling supplies, and life‑saving resources during Texas’ most dangerous heat season, this year’s WWX17: 4th Annual Hot Time in the City marks a significant expansion of WWX17’s public‑health mission. 

For the first time, the event will integrate Dementia Awareness Education, Prostate Cancer Awareness Resources, and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) awareness — three critical health areas that deeply affect the communities we serve. 

By pairing heat‑relief essentials with accessible, culturally grounded health information, WWX17: 4th Annual Hot Time in the City evolves into a broader wellness activation that offers both immediate protection and long‑term knowledge. 

This expanded approach strengthens the event’s purpose, ensuring neighbors receive care that is urgent, dignified, and rooted in legacy‑driven health Justice.
